Here we have one of our technicians adjusting some pieces in order to assemble an external linear pneumatic actuator for one pneumatically operated free swinging check valve. This is a very usual process in our workshop.

These are steam extraction valves for the protection of the plant’s heart -the steam or gas turbines- by providing a fast, positive shut-off to prevent the reverse flow through the pipeline, which may cause severe damage to the system.
